Spirit's rising The Southern Spirit, Australia’s newest
and most exclusive rail journey, has returned to the rails. Launched in 2010, The Southern Spirit
was limited to just two exclusive journeys in its inaugural year but has now expanded its range for 2011. The itineraries take in the sights of
four states and include routes through the Grampians, the Great Dividing Range, the Hunter Valley and Byron Bay on a journey from Adelaide to Brisbane, or vice versa. Rail Australia has also updated its online resource centre for agents.
