Internal Spring Cleaning
Detox is all the rage. It’s in vogue to do a cleanse… especially for those aligned with nature’s “spring cleaning.” But how can someone determine what the best plan is for them? Everyone is different. For some, it’s enough to renounce white flour and sugar. Others may need a more in-depth cleanse to achieve better health. Believing that simply offering a one-size-fits-all intense detox plan can have adverse effects, and people need to “be met where they are,” Patti Hartman, CCHT, offers a tailor-made detox plan for each client. Plans average three to ten days, depending on the client, their lifestyle and needs. Since cleansing the large intestine is key to
a healthy body, ensuring removal, rather than recirculation, of toxins, colon hydrotherapy is included in each plan. This technique gently removes waste without the use of drugs or chemicals. Benefits of the hydrotherapy and detox program include a deeper sense of well-being, clarity, calm, healthier skin, elimination of bloat, increased energy/diminished fatigue, and assistance with losing weight healthfully. Patti has twenty one years experience as a colon
hydrotherapist and co-created/directed the Seasonal Fasting Program at New Age Health Spa in Neversink, NY. Certified by the National Board for Colon Hydrotherapy and an instructor with the International Association for Colon Hydrotherapy, she also has a Masters degree in Holistic Nutrition. n Contact Patti at: 35 Boston Street, Guilford, CT (Shoreline Center for Wholistic Health), 203.500.0005,
