SAB Cutting Systems is now offering an extended range of wear parts and consumables for its ranges of plasma and oxy-fuel cutting machines.
Angle valve
manufacturer reaps benefits of 5-axis waterjet cutting
NB Corporation, a major manufacturer of large vacuum valves, also offers a wide range of machining and welding services, the assembly of customised d fabrications as well as standard vacuum gate valves, angle & pendulum valves, vacuum chambers, custom flanges and fittings production. When the company realised that weld preparation and set-up times were higher than actual welding times the decision was made to invest in a WARDJet 5-axis waterjet,
G cutting
machine. As part of their fabrication services, GNB were primarily cutting thick stainless steel (up to 12.7 cm thick) and needed a method of cutting material with the bevelled weld preps directly on to the net shapes of the parts.
Their goal was to
eliminate all machining, bevelling and grinding during the weld preparation process. One of the unique manufacturing challenges was presented by the angle valve product line.

Join the elite in oxy-fuel cutting and heating
A
winning combination of high strength materials a durable design, quick and efficient nozzle changes along with greater operator control are just some of the key benefits of the new Saffire Elite cutter from Murex Welding Products.
Its introduction underlines the
company's ability to offer the market a technically advanced product that puts reliability and operator comfort first in oxy-fuel cutting and heating applications. Suitable for oxygen/acetylene and oxygen/propane cutting, the Saffire Elite Cutter has performance enhancing technical features including a drop forged brass cutting body for superior
strength compared with standard brass bar produced products. Precision machined seats ensure a perfect fit between the cutter and nozzle and there is also an increased surface area for superior heat dispersion during the cutting process. Hard silver soldered joints provide resistance to high working temperatures.

he 2/3in-format Prosilica GX1920 imaging device from Stemmer is suitable for applications such as night-time surveillance, industrial vision and factory automation systems and scientific
measurement. It is claimed to add excellent near-infrared sensitivity and low-light imaging performance in a high-definition (HD) format to the fast 240Mb/s data transmission capability of the GX series of dual GigE Vision cameras from AVT. The Exview HAD CCD technology provides low noise, anti-blooming and excellent image quality as well as near-infrared and low-light imaging capabilities The Exview HAD CCD technology provides low noise, anti-blooming and excellent image quality as well as near-infrared and low-light imaging capabilities. This light response in both the infrared and visible regions of the spectrum comes from the new Sony ICX674 CCD sensor with Exview HAD technology. Available in monochrome and colour versions with 1,936 x 1,456-pixel (2.82-megapixel) resolution and operating at 40fps, the Exview HAD CCD technology provides low noise, anti-blooming and excellent image quality as well as near-infrared and low-light imaging capabilities.

eaverswood have been delighted with the level of interest shown in their new racksack since it’s launch earlier this
year. Because of the demand for this product Beaverswood have added another 2 standard designs to the existing range, the new designs are ”Shrink Wrap” and “Plastic Strapping” The racksack is designed to help waste segregation. Unlike conventional sacks the racksack is re-usable and made from waterproof polyester making it not only economical but also long lasting. The sack will fix easily onto most racking and shelving systems that are between 900mm and 1100mm wide using ‘S’ locators. The locators simply hook into the holes on the side profile of the end frames allowing the sack to be quickly removed and emptied. Three strong handles are woven into the edge of the sack, one on each side for carrying and one on the base, so that the sack can be tilted and emptied. Now available in Twelve standard designs alternatively other designs, company names and logos, etc can also be printed.
