ast in North America, a conference and exhibition show geared toward casting designers and pur- chasers, will return in 2011 as part of the American Foundry Society’s Metalcasting Congress. The show, scheduled for April 5-8 in Schaum-


Casting Design & Purchasing. Social events during the conference provide other op- portunities to meet current and potential casting suppliers. At the AFS Annual Banquet on April 6, the society’s high- est honor, the AFS Gold Medal, is presented. The Casting of the Year award will be presented at the AFS President’s Luncheon and Annual Business Meeting held April 8. The technical sessions and exhibition will be held at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center.
