ton, Ky., announced it has purchased a magnesium diecasting facility in Chihuahua, Mexico, from Compass Automotive Group LLC, Franklin, Ind. The magnesium casting facility will


operate under Revstone’s Cast Metals Group as Revstone Chihuahua LLC. The new addition will join the manu- facturing conglomerate’s growing portfolio of metalcasters, which in- cludes ferrous green sand caster Dex- ter Foundry, Fairfield, Iowa, bought in late 2010. its existing machining and assembly capabilities in San Luis Potosi. “With the addition of these two plants,


we are continuing to live up to our com- mitment to our customers to be a reliable supplier of a wide range of engineered solutions on a global level,” said Robert Carney, president of Revstone Mexico. Revstone, which primarily produces


parts for the transportation markets, proj- ects more than $1 billion in revenues in 2011. The company operates manufactur- ing facilities in more than 60 locations in North and Central America and indicated it plans to expand further in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
