• The 0.35-oz. zinc security clip attaches to merchandise to pro- tect it from theft. A series of functional teeth and ratchet serra- tions were produced as-cast.
• The diecaster fi rst provided prototype parts produced in a single-cavity die. Later, a more advanced die was designed for producing more than 100,000 pieces within four weeks. With the advanced die, the ratchet serrations were cast without fl ash.
