of varsity baseball at Cornwall…Also played three years of soccer and was a one-year member of the school’s ski team.


ROSSI ON BELL: “Tyler flashed signs of brilliance this fall. He may go though the normal freshman struggles, but the coaching staff feels that in a short period of time, he can be a major contributor offensively and defensively.”

GENERAL: Provides depth at first base and in the outfield…A superb defender who has devel- oped into a solid hitter as well.


BEFORE SIENA: Played four years of varsity baseball at


Cornwall…A two-time All-Section selection and a First Team All-State selection as a senior…Also played four years of football as a kicker and punter.


ROSSI ON KIRSHNER: “Ken is coming off an outstanding fall. He is an outstanding defender and came into his own offensively as the fall progressed. He will add depth to the squad, backing up at first base and getting playing time in the outfield and as a DH.”

GENERAL: A local product from nearby Greenwich…Was very impressive this past fall and could contend for a top spot out of the bullpen very quickly.


BEFORE SIENA: A four-year


member of the Greenwich baseball team…A First Team All- State selection as a senior, and the Wasaren League MVP… Honored by the Post Star as its Player of the Year and was a First Team selection by the Troy Record and Saratogian newspapers.


ROSSI ON FRYER: “Neil was a pleasant surprise this fall. He came out as one of the top pitchers on the staff. He has outstanding stuff and command and he will be counted on heavily to be a major force.”

GENERAL: Tall lefty who played in several national tournaments in high school…One of the best high school pitchers in central New York from 2008 to 2010.


BEFORE SIENA: A four-year


member of the Liverpool varsity baseball team…A two- time All-Area selection and a Central New York High School Baseball All-Star as a senior…Also a two-year member of Liverpool’s football team, playing quarterback and defen- sive back.


ROSSI ON O’KIPNEY: “Matt showed more consistency as the fall progressed. He will need to continue to work on command of all of his pitches to receive quality innings this spring, but he has great potential.”
