Keith Glasser Assistant Coach

Second Season Marist ’08

Keith Glasser begins his second season on the Saints’ staff where he works with the hitters and defense – particularly the catchers and outfielders. In his first year with the Saints, he tutored four All-MAAC selec-

tions and oversaw an offense that broke five school records. Additionally, Dan Paolini set the school record for home runs, RBI, total bases, extra base hits and runs, while Kevin Quaranto broke the doubles record under his watch.

No stranger to the MAAC, Glasser played four seasons at MAAC member Marist (2004-2008), serving as captain for the Red Foxes as a senior. He spent the 2009 season as a graduate assistant at the University of West Alabama where he assisted in all facets of the program.

Glasser began his coaching career as an assistant for the McLean Raiders of the Clark Griffith Baseball League.

“Keith is a welcome addition and plays a critical role in working on skill development with our hitters,” Rossi said. “His background in collegiate baseball – especially as a student athlete in the MAAC – is an invaluable asset to the program.”

Phil Cahill Assistant Coach

Second Season Siena ’09

Phil Cahill begins his second season on Rossi’s staff, but is no stranger to the program, having graduated in May of 2009 after playing four years under Rossi. Cahill was an All- MAAC performer behind the

dish in 2008 when the Saints made a run to the MAAC title game. He works primarily with the infielders and in his first year, he oversaw the development of two All- MAAC selections.

“Phil’s knowledge of the program will be a valuable asset to the staff,” Rossi said. “He has a high baseball IQ and his transition is proving to be a smooth one.”

Cahill played fours season, seeing time at catcher and DH for the Saints. A co-captain on the 2009 Siena squad, Cahill proved to be a strong leader both on and off the field. He appeared in 31 games in his last season and hit two home runs in 31 games.
