GENERAL: Power pitcher known for his huge strikeout totals… Can run his fastball up to 90 with an outstanding slider in the low 80s…Second on the staff in both wins and innings as a freshman, showing flashes of
brilliance in MAAC play…Should once again be a frontline pitcher for the Saints.
AS A FRESHMAN: Appeared in 17 games, making 10 starts …Went 5-4 with a 6.61 ERA and 50 strikeouts in 64 innings pitched…Earned his first collegiate win at South Alabama (3/5), going six innings and allowing three earned runs… Tossed a complete-game gem against Iona (4/24), allowing one run on eight hits in nine innings while fanning a season-high nine hitters…Tied the strikeout mark just a few weeks later while tossing five shutout innings against Saint Peter’s (5/8), allowing just three hits.
BEFORE SIENA: Excellent athlete, lettering in four sports… Named to the All-State team twice…Named First Team All- Conference twice…Pitched in the Empire State Games in 2007…Won a school-record seven games as a senior, posting a 2.07 ERA with 101 strikeouts.
