GENERAL: Tri-captain…Local product who burst onto the scene as a freshman three years ago, posting the second most wins for

AS A JUNIOR: Appeared in 11 games, making 10 starts…Had a 1-5 record with 29 strikeouts in 57 1/3 innings pitched… Defeated Iona (4/23), allowing two earned runs on eight hits in 7 2/3 innings while striking out a career-high seven hitters… Did not allow an earned run against Niagara (4/3), pitching 5 2/3 innings and striking out three.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Appeared in 12 games, making nine starts…Fourth on the team in innings pitched (45.2)… Pitched six shutout innings with career- high six strikeouts in earning his second win in his last start of season at Iona (5/10)…Showed good control, walking just five batters over his final 18 innings of work.
AS A FRESHMAN: Appeared in 14 games,making eight starts …Led the staff and ranked second in the MAAC with eight victories, one shy of the program’s freshman record…Led pitching staff with five complete games in just eight starts… Led all full-time starters in ERA (4.74) and opponents’ batting average (.264)…Saints won nine straight games in which he appeared from 3/23-5/15…Lasted at least 6.2 innings in all eight starts…As a starter went 7-0 with five complete games and a 3.88 ERA…Held left-handed batters to just a .221 batting average.
BEFORE SIENA: As a senior was named: Section II Class AA Pitcher of the Year, Suburban Council Pitcher of the Year, Suburban Council First Team Pitcher and Second Team First Base, Fourth Team All-NYS, Times Union All-Area Team, Saratogian Dream Team, Ballston Spa MVP… Selected as Ballston Spa Pitcher of the Year as a junior and senior …Captain of the baseball team as a junior and senior…Finished his high school career with 62 2/3 innings, giving up 28 earned runs, 75 strikeouts and 29 walks.
