EXPO TO DEBUT NEXT MONTH
Taking place from 16 to 17 March 2011 at London’s Earls Court, the inaugural Retail Business Technology Expo will feature leading retail business-focused technology vendors showcasing their latest products and innovations. A dedicated exhibition and conference, Cards
& Payments Solutions 2011 will provide a platform for the most innovative suppliers to showcase their products and solutions, as well as host the fi rst Vendorcom Quarterly Cards & Payments Thought Leadership Conference 2011. And a free informative and interactive education programme incorporating seminars and workshops will provide a forum to discuss the enterprise technology issues retailers are facing during 2011. Mike Davies, vice president of IT services
provider Wipro Retail, which is sponsoring the Expo VIP Lounge, said: “It will provide an excellent platform for the retail industry to showcase all the great work that’s going on, which creates such a vibrant and dynamic industry.” Mike Bielinski, chief executive of retail
communications provider Vodat International, said: “It’s good to see the event is being is supported by an impressive seminar line-up. This enables retailers and technology vendors to come together under one roof to share their experiences and learn from each other.”
Other exhibitors will include Microsoft and, among others, one of its technology partners K3 Retail, web-based retail software provider Blue Bridge Solutions, and Futura Retail Solutions.
