Budding secret agents have been given a license to thrill with the opening of the new Spy Camp at Disneyland Paris. Youngsters aged between eight and 16 can emulate James Bond and Austin Powers by signing up to the espionage- themed attraction.

El Gouna goes smaller
Egyptian village-style resort El Gouna has opened two new boutique hotels. Fanadir and Mosaique are both four-
star hotels located on the resort’s new Abu Tig marina complex. Representing a shift towards boutique
properties for the resort, the hotels have just 54 and 69 rooms respectively. Both Arabic-inspired hotels have
access to facilities and activities including a championship golf course, horse-riding, diving and snorkelling, sailing and other watersports, kitesurfi ng and desert safaris, as well as access to a public beach.
Each hotel has a main pool and a kids' pool, a pool bar and a restaurant while Fanadir has an extra al a carte restaurant. Two six-star boutique hotels are planned for next year, and a Four Seasons will open in 2014. An e-learning programme is in the pipeline for 2011.

Participants learn the inner-sanctum secrets of spying and then put their new skills to the test in a series of specially-devised challenges that range from code-breaking and surveillance to dodging laser alarms and a combat zone. Those who successfully complete the course will be recognised at a passing out ceremony. Montenegro's big plans
Montenegro enjoyed a steady rise in visitor numbers last year and will focus on pushing its adventure sports in 2011.
Montenegro National Tourism Organisation manager Danica Ceranic said there was 56 per cent more overnight stays between January and September last year, with around 18,000 UK tourists travelling to the Adriatic country. As well as the new cycling network, which now numbers 17 trails and over 1700 kms combined with ‘Bed & Bike’ quality-approved accommodation, the country has opened its second-longest hiking route, which runs between the capital Podgorica and Durmitor National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Dertour’s 2011 brochure, ‘Germany, Austria, Switzerland 2011’, has been adapted to meet the requirements of travel agents, the company says.
“We’ve added more destination and event information designed to be an ‘idea generator’ for agents, and backed up by access to a further 10,000 European hotels to meet all tastes and budgets and available online,” said Julie Craig, Dertour’s managing director. The brochure features city breaks,
lakes, rivers and mountains holidays, rail tours, river cruises, beer festivals and Christmas markets across the three countries, with an emphasis on tailor-made options. New for 2011 is a special UNESCO Highlights rail tour. Lead-in price is £249pp, for a two-
night package to Bonn. It includes three-star B&B accommodation, fl ights and transfers.
