In spite of a great deal of discordant energy winds expected to blow across the world during the METAL RABBIT year of 2011, there will also be a good number of truly auspicious indications on the personal luck front. Clashing elements suggest severely unbalanced weather conditions that cause water, earth and fire disasters; yet for individuals, the year’s outlook does not look bad and there is actually a good deal of prosperity and success luck brought by big and small auspicious stars flying into the ring of the 24 mountains. So while macro indications look dire, on a personal level many can take heart from the auspicious promise of these luck bringing stars.

the annual destiny readings for the 12 animal signs; in fact, the 24 mountains is one of the more important rings around the luo pan or feng shui compass. Its influence is thus always taken into account whenever the outlook of a year is studied. In this respect, the outlook of 2011

T

appears promising, as the stars of the 24 directions show some heavyweight appearance of Big Auspicious stars. In fact, there are five such stars in the year’s chart and three animal signs are flanked by Big Auspicious stars during the year. Tese are the Rat, the Horse and the Ox. Of the three, it is the Ox who seems to enjoy the best combination of all. Te Ox sits on the star of the Golden Deity which of course brings protection and blessings form the cosmic deities, while on its left and right sits Big Auspicious stars. Te Ox has a great deal of good news coming. Perhaps the most famous Ox today is President Barack Obama of the United States, so it does appear like he will perhaps regain some of the momentum he seems to have lost

during the last Tiger year. Te Rat and Horse are also flanked

by Big Auspicious stars, but the Horse is afflicted by the Star of Reducing Energy on which it sits, while the Rat is sitting on the General Star. For them both, the 24 mountains bring the promise of good fortune. Another very lucky sign in 2011

is the Snake who sits on the Star of Small Auspicious and is flanked on the left by Big Auspicious and on the right by another Small Auspicious star. Te Boar whose direction is directly opposite that of the Snake also enjoys a big and small auspicious star on its left and right and thus also enjoys a potentially great year. In terms of really good stars

therefore, the year holds out the promise of bonanza luck for these

five animal signs. Of these five signs, the Rat and Horse belong to the cardinal axis while the other three belong to the secondary axis. Note that amongst these five signs we have two sets of natural enemies, the Rat/Horse combination and the Snake/Boar combination. Tese are deemed to natural adversaries of the Zodiac. Do note however that because these

two axis directions enjoy such favourable luck brought by the 24 mountains, they will tend to get along harmoniously during the Rabbit year. If your family has two signs belonging to an axis direction such as the Rat/Horse and the Snake/ Boar as indicated, any relationship difficulties between them in the past will be minimized this year. And if the Rat/Horse also has a Rabbit/

Rooster hence forming the cardinal cross of North/South and east/West, then even though individually the Rabbit and Rooster have their luck afflicted in 2011, the four of them together will cancel out whatever bad luck they individually have. Te presence of the cardinal cross such as this is very lucky, especially in 2011. Remember that in 2011 the Rabbit is afflicted by the Five Yellow and the Rooster is afflicted by the Natural Disaster star. So the East and the West have very negative stars of the 24 mountains. Nevertheless, if they can be helped by the Rat and Horse together, their afflictions of 2011 can be overcome. Meanwhile, if the Snake/Boar signs occur in the same family and they also have the Monkey/Tiger combination, then the four of these signs together will create one of two Secondary Crosses, and again the 4 of them together will enjoy good fortune collectively. Together they will lift each other’s luck up high, buoyed by the auspicious stars flying in to benefit the Snake and the Boar.

The presence of the cardinal cross such as this is very lucky, especially in 2011.
