Secret World Wildlife Rescue makes a real difference to British Wildlife, but our work costs money. With no Government funding, we rely heavily on the support and generosity of people like you to fund our vital work! We are very grateful to all our supporters who dedicate their own time and resources to organise their own fundraising events.


l Barbara Garrett from The Somer Community Housing Trust sheltered housing scheme at Pine Court & Chichester Place in Radstock. £200 was raised through a coffee morning (cheque presentation, pictured right).


l Nigel’s Crusty Loaf’ in Gwent raised £91.00 by selling DVDs and books in their shop.


l Louise Ashby not only ran the Bristol Half Marathon for us but also organised a collection amongst her work colleagues which her employer ‘Lifetime’ in Bristol then matched to total £221.02.


l Jane Morgan and her friend Jackalyn, both from Bridgend, raised £100 by selling off some unwanted gold jewellery.


l The Year 8 students at Huish Episcopi School in Somerset nominated Secret World as their chosen charity to receive the £256.61, raised by holding a Mufti Day.


l The Margaret Brown School of Dance held a coffee morning and opened their gardens, raising £100 for Secret world in the process.


l Coins collected at the Winscombe Community Centre Market totalled a £20 donation.


l Tre Lowan Mylas, Cornwall, raised £100 by organising a sponsored dog walk.


l The Bristol employees of Optimized Systems and Solutions raised £100 through their “Charity Chocolate Box”


l Soroptometists WSM International organised a car boot and raised £92.26 l Mrs Swift of Midsomer Norton donated £90 to our ‘WildWalk’ initiative.


l Cousins Nathan (aged 11) and Rhona Plant (aged 12) organised a “Splat the Rat” game at their school raising £26.


l Colin and Pamela Dicker of Clevedon celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary and asked for donations to Secret World instead of gifts. This raised a total of £243. Congratulations to them both!


l When Brean Line Dancing Club recently closed they distributed their remaining funds to charities, £120 was kindly donated to Secret World.
