SECRET WORLD ADOPTIONS OWL ADOPTION

This Adoption was new in 2010 and it is already proving to be quite popular. Owls are much loved across the UK and here in Somerset we are very lucky that we have not only the Tawny and Little owls but also quite a few barn owls whose numbers have been dwindling.


Each year Secret World receives a number these owls and from time to time long and short eared owls as well. The pictures below show a Tawny Owl that was caught up in kite wires and after being rescued with some help from the fire brigade came into our centre for a few days. Miraculously there was no major damage and it was release back to the wild where it belongs.
