Legacies will mean security for our charity


Each year we manage to bring in the funds but there is very little held to ensure that Secret World will always be here for the animals. Your actions could mean there will always be somewhere safe and secure for wildlife casualties. Somewhere that each individual will be given the love and care that it deserves.


If you have remembered us in your will, we would love to hear from you. Mainly because we would like to say thank you but also it would give us the opportunity to discuss with you what your actions could mean to us. We would also like you to know how we want Secret World to progress. With your gift, you can further improve the security of Secret World Wildlife Rescue so that it continues its vital work long into the future.


We want you to be happy in the knowledge that your gift to us will help us to save lives and reduce the suffering of wildlife. If you would like to discuss any aspect with regards to including Secret World Wildlife Rescue in your will, please contact me personally.


1 in 4 of the animals we care for is funded by a legacy, so necessary as Secret World runs purely on donations. One way to donate is by leaving a gift in your Will. Legacies play an important role with most charities. People leaving money to charities close to their hearts can really boost funds. Few people are able to leave all their money to a charity, wonderful as that would be for the charity!! Most of us have dependants to think about, but leaving just a small gift in your Will to Secret World can make a big difference. Writing a Will, or keeping your existing Will up to date, may not be the most cheerful thing to put on your list of things to do, but it should take priority. It doesn't actually take that long and once it's done there's huge peace of mind and it can prevent much distress for your loved ones at an already difficult time.
