Now, it’s time to begin the women’s face. I start with Light Brown on the shadows by free hand to keep the lines soft. I also use my previous prints or copies to paint the eyes and mouth. Be very meticulous with this stage, because it’s the most important part of the design!!! The girl has to look pretty, so it’s important that the nose be in the middle of the eyes and the mouth perfectly under the nose! That’s the reason for using a print or copy of the design. I spray the flesh color with a Coral Color from Auto Air by free hand, I spray it all over the face, even over the eyes, in order to attenuate the lines and the shadows where their too dark for me. You can also see on this picture, the leaf result.

I continue by spraying White in the eyes, and with

a removable mask, I spray the eye color with a very Light Blue. The last thing to do is to paint the hair. First, I spray White on all over the hair to attenuate the lines between the face and the hair, as well as the outlines which are too dark. When the White is dry, I add Yellow on the hair. With Brown and Orange, I fo- cus on the locks movement. The last stage is to spray a very light Green color around the hair to integrate it to the leaf. The high lights of the hair are done by eraser pencil and scraping.

After, I spray a Yellow Fluorescent from Auto Air over some of the locks. I come back on the flowers with Orange and Yellow Fluorescent as well the leaf will be retouched with Green and Yellow Fluorescent.

The last touch ups are done with eraser pencils and scraping to create light points on eyes, mouth, hair, flowers and leafs.
