RSA’s Cannes Lions winning The Gift


RSA says 2010 has, rather surprisingly seen “a steady flow of work with the autumn bringing a sudden rush of scripts.” A big commercials production outfit, Ridley and Tony Scott’s RSA Films has 85 directors on its roster worldwide. RSA highlights of the past year include winning the inaugural Craft Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions for The Gift, director Carl Erik Rinsch’s film for Philips Parallel Linescampaign.


Stink is a very global concern with offices in London, New York, LA, Paris, Berlin and Shanghai. It has many subdivisions, including Skunk (its US operations), Stink Digital, arts-based creative solutions company Direkt:Art and sister company, Rokkit. Highlights of last year include Adam Berg’s Dulux Wallsspot for Euro RSCG, London, and digital video artist Marco Brambilla’s video collage for the Kanye West Power promo. Stink is currently “putting our energies into developing a dynamic digital model that remains ahead of the curve” and “looking to grow Direkt:Art, our international network of artists, musicians, photographers and filmmakers making arts-based content for brands and commercial clients”.

Sonny London names the Heineken Legendcampaign it put together with W+K Amsterdam as a particular highlight of the year as it involved “producing the main TVC, the stills, viral content and a music video for a single client.” And it’s being able to provide wider cross platform content on top of the traditional TV ad that the company’s looking towards for the next year.
