Tips from the Experts…

Setting the Mood The bride and groom define the character of the wedding and bring the day to life! They set the tone and energy level for the rest of the guests. If you want your friends and family to be out on the dance floor, the bride and groom need to be out there too! And if it rains, don’t let the rain get you down. This day will only happen once, and if you put a smile on your face and enjoy your wedding - your guests will too! The bride and groom’s attitude toward the day is truly infectious.

Hair and Makeup Although we hear plenty of debate on this

topic, we always recommend having your hair done first and then your makeup - you don’t want to melt all that beautiful makeup! Be sure you have the same lipstick color and

foundation as your makeup artist used on you for touching up later in the day or evening.

Keeping Your Head About You

It is important to eat and stay hydrated at your wedding. We always ask the venue to assign a wait staff person specifically to attend to

the bride and groom to be sure they are well taken care of!

The Ditty Bag Be prepared! Be sure that one of your

bridesmaids has a “ditty bag” at the reception with the essentials to freshen up which should include your lip-gloss, comb, safety pins etc.
