DAILY LIFE: Living in Charlottesville, Kiki is a professional artist and Hunter is earning his MBA at Darden Business School HOMETOWNS: Both Virginians: She’s from Charlottesville; He’s from Richmond. FIRST SIGHT: While at UVA for undergrad they met through a mutual friend (bridesmaid) at a party - the rest was history. SHE SAID YES: During a get away to Hunter’s family mountain retreat in Roaring Gap, North Carolina. BRIDE’S BOUQUET: Hydrangeas, Peonies, and Garden Roses tied with ivory satin. WEDDING INSPIRATION: One of the bride’s paintings depicting a tree with the couple’s carved initials - her save the date was a miniature canvas of the painting with the wedding details printed on the back. SPECIALTY COCKTAIL: Southsides - a favorite family recipe. FIRST DANCE SONG: “Let’s Stay Together” - Al Green. MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: To kick off dancing after the first dances, the whole family crowded to the dance floor to dance to “We are Family”- from that moment on, the dance floor was packed. HONEYMOON: Little Dix Bay, British Virgin Islands.
