The complex components are measured and a direct comparison between the reference model and the actual part can be made based on the analysis of the point clouds. www.aqsense.com

AutoVimation will showcase its Mechanical Machine Vision Interface (MMVI) at the trade fair. Users often spend a large

amount of time and capital on the mechanical integration of components in machine vision systems. Equipped with such a standardised mechanical MMVI interface, all components can be easily assembled with few tools. Mounting brackets from AutoVimation’s mechanical construction kit allow users to adjust the units at any angle. This does away with the costly and time-consuming design and manufacturing of camera and light holders. Only eight different quick-lock holders

are required, for instance, to install virtually any compact camera in a Salamander-type protective enclosure or mounting block from AutoVimation. Four different light holder adapter plates are sufficient to mount ring or spot lights of various sizes and make them compatible with the MMVI system. Once fitted with an adapter, all components can be easily combined into a complete image processing system by means of AutoVimation’s machine vision construction kit. www.autovimation.com

Basler will expand its successful Ace GigE area scan camera series by introducing four new models with Sony CCD sensors in standard

HigHligHts in Brief

Cmosis will introduce a new member of its standard high-end CMOS image sensor family: the 4.2-megapixel CMV4000E12. The off-the- shelf image sensor features a square 5.5 x 5.5µm (2,048 x 2,048) pixel format. It offers high NIR sensitivity, low noise, central shutter and full frame rate of 180fps. www.cmosis.com

Laser Components will introduce the Flexpoint MV series of line lasers for machine vision applications. The lasers are available in five different models: the Focus laser, the Pico laser designed for integration into smart

sensors, the MV12 equipped with an M12 thread, and the Midi and Maxi lasers, providing 200 and 400mW output powers respectively. www.lasercomponents.co.uk

resolutions. In addition, Basler will launch a set of innovative, fast, high- resolution CMOS cameras

MVTec Software will present the new version of the standard software for machine vision Halcon 10, with live demos at the show. The 3D vision power of Halcon 10 was further

strengthened with new tools, such as surface-based 3D matching. www.mvtec.com

Navitar will be showcasing a variety of non-visible wavelength optics from UV to SWIR including its ZFL video fluorescence imaging scope, OptiStar SWIR lenses and new Kohler Illuminators, as well as many accessories for its high magnification machine vision lenses. www.navitar.com

Power over Ethernet, and a variety of useful features. With these novel new products, Basler will revolutionise current price levels for fast, high-resolution cameras. Basler Aviator cameras are currently only available with a Camera Link interface, but the new Aviator GigE family will be another innovation presented at the show. The new
