Available to retail stockists from May onwards, the promotional materials


are aimed at attracting interest from consumers, stimulating sell through and giving the products more shelf appeal. The Meindl campaign offers retailers a multitude of POS options; this


includes slatwall image boards, header boards, slatwall stickers, fit stools and try on mats – all featuring the new ‘blue’ Meindl branding. Retailers also have the choice of complimentary hanging banners, in store cubes, A1 posters, A3 grading posters and Meindl’s new sock stand for added customer impact. Gregory’s POS campaign is based around the Gregory logo for easy


customer identification. Retailers can choose from aluminium signs, header boards, stickers and A1 posters to advertise their in-store Gregory offering. Following its award winning campaign last year, Source is back with its


2010 POS promotion. This year’s POS campaign includes Tri-fold show cards, window/door stickers, header boards, drop down banners, product test cards and the focal point of any display, the hydration stand, which features a large branded header board to draw consumers’ attention to the brand. Gelert marks anniversary with success


Berghaus has celebrated the latest honour bestowed on its chairman in appropriate style. Sir Chris Bonington was appointed Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (CVO) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list recently. A few days later, Sir Chris joined over 30 staff from Berghaus for a day on the fells in his beloved Lake District. On the way to the summit of Great Gable, Berghaus president Richard Cotter produced some bottles of bubbly from his rucksack and proposed a toast to Sir Chris Bonington CVO. Sir Chris Bonington said: “What a great way to celebrate and a lovely


surprise! I always thoroughly enjoy my days on the hill with the Berghaus team and this was even more special than usual. “The honour came out of the blue and was a truly wonderful surprise, especially since it is the gift of the Queen.”

Despite the difficult economic climate the brand continues to see very strong growth throughout the all of the year.
