DRESSED FOR THE JOB
If you plan to fi sh commercials on a regular basis it is advisable to get yourself a decent set of clothing-one that will cover both your summer and winter needs. A good set of clothing should at the very least include:
1. A three quarter length jacket with ample pockets and a fold away hood.
2. A fl eece jacket or hoody that can be worn under or as an integral part of the jacket.
3. A good pair of waterproof trousers or a Bib n Brace, these will keep your legs dry when you are resting your landing net over your lap to unhook the fi sh. I prefer to wear Bib n Brace all year round, but trousers are quite a nice option on hot summer days.
Make sure it is waterproof and spacious as the most important thing is to feel dry and comfortable. You may think that any old clothing will do, but do not be too complacent. Correctly designed match fi shing clothing will usually have additional pockets and have certain aspects specially designed for anglers.
