unwanted sounds as well as the voice, and makes it difficult for the other party to hear what the user is saying. The INVISIO X50 with the two- channel headset INVISIO X5 use the patented technology INVISIO Bone Conduction in order to solve the problem with noise that drowns speech. It uses very small microphones that are well protected in the ear canal. The technology does not use sound through airwaves, but converts vibrations from speech in the jawbone into crystal clear sound, which allows the user to be heard even in extremely noisy environments (over 120 dB). The system also enables operators to communicate via two-way radios in send and receive mode simultaneously, and the actual physical products are designed with great consideration for the demanding situations in which they are used, which is reflected in everything from the hard-wearing materials and user- friendliness to functions that enable one to always rely on the equipment. The INVISIO X50 Hearing Protection system eliminates noise above 85 dB, through a combination of the in-ear headset as a certified hearing protection device, and intelligent

In addition, the INVISIO X50 system has situational awareness, which enables 360 degree natural hearing and exactly pinpoints the direction of the sound. This feature can if necessary also amplify sounds from the surrounding environment up to five times. The INVISIO Bone Conduction solution also enables communication through whispering, which is especially important for operatives among the Special Forces. All of INVISIO’s headsets are placed in one ear or both ears and feature the patented technology INVISIO Bone Conduction. In order for a headset to be used continuously for many hours, it must have an ergonomic design, not sit too far inside the ear, and be made of a material that does not cause irritation. Moreover, it must allow external sounds to pass so that the user can conduct a regular conversation without removing the unit from his or her ear. Parallel to this, damaging and very loud sounds, such as weapons being fired or the roar of an aircraft engine, must be eliminated.
