Seminars add visitor value
This year’s programme of 20 free drop-in technical seminars – organised jointly by the rail engineer magazine and Mack Brooks Exhibitions – again proved a big draw for visitors. Located in the main exhibition hall, these well attended sessions ran over all three days of Infrarail, adding value for visitors by providing deeper insights into many of the innovations on show by exhibitors.

were an informative briefing on the status of the Crossrail project by the company’s Chairman, Terry Morgan, and a timely presentation by Amey Consulting’s Managing Director Andy Milner on how an integrated approach to the challenges facing transport in the UK can provide a response to reduced public sector spending.
