On-Track Display showcases new products
An On-Track Display of rail- mounted equipment in the main hall of the show is now an established feature of both Infrarail and its partner exhibition, Railtex – and one that proves popular both with exhibitors and visitors. This year’s show was no exception, with
Universal Services providing the
track sections for the first time to help showcase new products. Regular show participant Bance was the successful Best On-Track Display nominee in the Infrarail Awards for its ultrasonic test vehicle, which is capable of ultrasonic rail flaw detection and overhead line electrification height and stagger gauging, as well as platform gauging. The track display enabled Semmco to showcase its new modular rail front access system, a lightweight height-adjustable product designed to enable maintenance staff to work safely

on vehicles of varying front-end profiles. There was also much interest in Semmco’s multifunctional rail pit board, featuring an aluminium frame and a GRP non- slip platform.

Vortok International also made
good use of the On-Track Display. Centre stage was the Rosenqvist SB60 Sleeper Replacer, a high- performance unit that comes with a Clip Master option for fast and safe clipping of Fastclips and provision for adding buckets for ballast removal at wet spots. Products featured by Vortok included its internationally successful Balise Mounting System and its recently developed Modular AWS Magnet System. Also exhibiting as part of the

On-Track Display were Colmar UK, showcasing the new T7000 road- rail vehicle, and cable troughing specialist BCM GRC, presenting a full range of its products.
