Q: With all of the discussion surrounding 2012, was The Keys of Enoch® given to you to support us through this place of evolution that so many are discussing? Are we on a very fine precipice right now?
Dr. J.J. Hurtak: 2010 to 2012 is a very important time of planetary understanding and preparation for quantum change. However, my book The Keys of Enoch® takes us beyond the year 2012, which I believe has become a psychological hype, preoccupying and intensify- ing people’s fears. Clearly the world has gone through many cycles of evolutionary change and the human race has survived, as we can see in the myths and the teachings from the sutras of the Far East and the legends of the peoples in Japan and the Pacific Islands.
I had the opportunity to work under the ocean with Japanese
researchers back in the mid-1990s shortly after the discovery and find- ings of the underwater temple platforms and truncated pyramids off the coast of Taiwan, mainly in the area called Yonaguni. This invitation to work with the underwater explorers was based upon the math- ematics of Key 215, in The Keys of Enoch®, which shows one of the longitudinal lines going through the Pacific at a certain location. These lines indicate where ancient evidences would be found of a previous cataclysmic change. Although this happened in the past and will again in the future, I do not see this occuring at one particular date such as December 21, 2012.
I do see this period of 2012 as a ‘time threshold’ for consciousness
change, a wake-up call, to how we can use the abilities of the super- mind to make a positive transition, knowing that Mother Earth is going through all of these re-balancing processes because of the way nature is manifesting through volcanic disruptions and solar flares, indicat- ing the way we have misused our science to assault Mother Nature. Clearly, we are leading ourselves into a state of bio-physical collapse in some areas of the world.
Dr. Desiree Hurtak: In terms of a particular cut-off date, we do not feel the end of the world is so near at hand. However, ultimately, our goal is not to be limited to Mother Earth. We believe there are myriad realms of intelligence around us—both extraterrestrial and ultra-terres- trial forms of life exist—and for the most part a positive engagement should be our goal.
Yet, regarding 2012, our research shows the Mayan Long Count
calendar is only one of many calendars that the Mayans used. There is also the Haab and the Tolkin calendars to name a few. More impor- tantly, the date of December 2012 is based on a starting calendar date of around August 3114 BC. So from 3114 BC to 2012 AD one finds a span of roughly about 5000 years. That might seem like a long time for you and me, but our research is showing life in the Americas, North and South American continents, goes back much further than 5000 years. Traditional archeologists are saying we were here some 12,500 years ago (the Clovis era). However, we are finding we were here in the ‘New World’ some 15,000 maybe even 33,000 years ago. Therefore, there is no reason to believe the end point of the “entire” world would be in 2012 when the beginning of the calendar point was not our start

– 5000 years ago – we were here long before that! If it wasn’t our starting point even in the New World, why would it indicate our end?
Dr. J.J. Hurtak: Desiree is referring to our recent archaeological visit to Monte Verde, Chile and also areas in Colombia and Pedra Furada, Brazil, where we have conducted archaeological expeditions to re-map ancient migratory routes and to look for evidences of an earlier cycle of humanity.
Dr. Desiree Hurtak: The planet has obviously passed through many cycles. We are very concerned about the environmental changes tak- ing place right now. Part of our work worldwide, however, with the Academy for Future Science, is to look at solutions. We feel there will always be a future and there will always be science. We can make changes happen right now that can help Mother Earth. The fossil fuel technology is already making way for advancing renewables and new energy technologies that are coming out and our consciousness mind- set is also starting to change.
Dr. J.J. Hurtak: This is why The Keys are so important because this was one of the first texts to refer to zero point energy as a solution and other alternatives to the fossil fuel preoccupations that we have had with Western civilization that is still operating in the shadow of the Dinosaur fossil-fuel mind-set. This is why we are interested in doing real science with real archaeologists, anthropologists sociologists to prove The Keys do work in areas of new investigations and new dis- coveries rather than on a theoretical basis. However, we also acknowl- edge that the changes must come through a positive consciousness that is able to transcend the physical plane of life while still engaging on the physical plane with new paradigms of science. Even social thinkers are starting to focus now on a pragmatic or ‘praxis’ reality of finding solutions that work.
Q: 11:11 is considered a pre-encoded trigger on a cellular level as a method Light Beings and Angels utilize to commu- nicate with us. Do you also believe they are communicating with us? Can you tell us the difference between ‘Angels’ and ‘Ultra-terrestrials’?
Dr. J.J. Hurtak: The historic word ‘angel’ has been so de-mytholo- gized in the West that it is not taken seriously as a word that means messenger from another world or dimension. “Ultra-terrestrials” as discussed in The Keys of Enoch® is a term referring to a level of intel- ligence that has evolved beyond any material form of technology. It is not to be equated with extraterrestrial intelligence.
I choose to emphasize and work with ultra-terrestrial, angelic dimen- sions as opposed to the extraterrestrial. Yet even the great philosophi- cal traditions refer to both the beneficent angelic, as well as the fallen angelic. We are seeing in our cosmology that in our local heavens there is a struggle between the forces of benign and non-benign experimen- tation being played out behind the scenes. Our emphasis is to look pos- itively towards work with the ultra-terrestrial community of the Divine Master Teachers, the Archangelic and Super Avatar beings who wish the human race to go forth in this great change that is taking place.
