AWARDS 2010
SUPPLY & SERVICE AWARD
SUPPLY & SERVICE CATEGORY
Distributor of the Year – Voice/Convergence
This category is for communications distributors operating in the converged business telecoms market. Distributors will have to demonstrate how they have helped resellers grow their businesses through identifying market opportunities, supported by effective logistics, technical & sales support, incentive schemes, finance facilities, account management and ease of doing business.
Distributor of the Year – Mobile
This award will recognise mobile distributors that have helped resellers grow their businesses through identifying market opportunities, supported by effective logistics, technical & sales training and support, incentive schemes, finance facilities, account management and ease of doing business.
Installation/Maintenance Provider of the Year
Without first class maintenance and support services a minor technical problem could cause enormous problems for resellers. This category is for channel organisations that offer third party maintenance and white label installation support across a range of unified communications products. Demonstrations of on-line diagnostics, fault reporting and fault-to- clear commitments will be an important part of the submission together with examples of partnership success stories.
By sponsoring this award we hope to highlight the excellent
work done by many of our counterparts in driving continual improvement throughout the industry.

Capstan is committed to providing resellers with highly professional and responsive service and supply, be it sales, technical or operational,” confirmed Scott Elder, Sales Director. “Our strategy precludes charging for either support or training, providing our resellers with easy and cost free access to the latest product developments, while giving them confidence when installing and supporting the latest technologies.”
Elder also said that Capstan’s support strategy is bolstered by 99.99 per cent stock availability: “It’s easy to see that our strategy is largely responsible for the success of our flagship IPECS-50 system, a SMB Pure IP system.
“By sponsoring this award we hope to highlight the excellent work done by many of our counterparts in driving continual improvement throughout the industry,” he added. “Only by working together can the channel overcome many of the difficulties faced over the past 18 months. Indeed, it is only those that fully grasp the vital roles that impeccable service and uninterrupted supply play, who will ensure they are well placed to take advantage of the economic recovery.”
Capstan has geared up to take advantage of the improving market conditions with a busy 2010-2011 roadmap that will see it enter the data networking space, extend its range of IPECS Call Servers and continue development of the ipLDK range of Hybrid IP/TDM systems.
