fantastic opportunity for Samsung,” confirmed Paul Templeton, General Manager.

Applications can be over looked by a reseller or customer and just be seen as an add-on rather than as the main product that is required. “More often than not, it is the applications packaged together by the reseller and presented to the end customer as a solution that meets their requirements, that can determine if you will win or lose a sale,” added Templeton. “Samsung understands the need to highlight the importance of vertical markets and make it a more prominent subject throughout the industry. This award will help towards achieving this goal.”

The Samsung solutions cover a broad range of verticals from Contact Centres and Health, to Care Homes, Hospitality and Construction. “Our applications offer a magnitude of features and functionality, bringing added benefits to the customer which complements our award winning hardware products,” said Templeton.

Samsung has seen much success within vertical markets, especially with its Contact Centre Agent and Reporting as well as Voice Recording applications. “Also, our recent integration with the Nurse Call system, in association with Courtney Thorn in the UK, has seen our presence in the Care Home sector grow vastly over the last few months,” said Templeton. “We are consistently developing new functions to support different markets, trying to bring customers flexibility and features other manufacturers cannot offer.”
