A design classic
Changes have been made to the MS-20 high capacity drainage membrane from Delta Membrane Systems, with a re-design that brings greater performance characteristics. The new variant takes over the name Delta MS-20, with the previous option being re-branded as Delta MS-20
Classic. The new MS-20 brings to the market a compressive strength that has been improved by over 30% - boasting figures of around 200kN/m2. This has been achieved by changing the profile of the studs from a circular conical design to an octagon in cross-section, and the smooth walls are now
ribbed.Pressure strength is improved parallel to the stress cracking stability which is also upgraded and extends
the lifetime of the product. Click here to request literature

at Boho One Xsite Architecture selected Neaco’s Techdek aluminium open grille system for a bridge structure linking office buildings at Boho One, a £10 million development in Middlesbrough designed to accommodate and support businesses working in digital and creative sectors. “Techdek’s T-bar profile was ideal for the walkway as it gives the feel of transparency, drains water effectively and doesn’t block light yet provides a large contact area with just a 5mm gap between grilles, making it safe to walk on for even the most impractical types of footwear,” said Adrian Philpotts of Xsite Architecture. Just one click and the job is done Lindab's new Safe Click system is purpose designed for integrating fittings into circular ductwork. It's an ingenious solution that speeds installation, while offering air tightness to Class C or above. Both those objectives have been achieved in a major office refurbishment project in the centre of Oxford. Ductwork engineers Air Aquality Services Ltd have installed over 900 metres of Lindab spiral ductwork in the ceiling voids at Wellington Square. Conditioned air from the roof mounted air handling plant will be supplied into the rooms spaces via perforated
ceiling diffusers. Click here to request literature
Wiring system proves a hit Modular Wiring Systems, has designed, manufactured and supplied modular distribution systems for the new Spire Shawfair Park Hospital in
Edinburgh. The LV distribution systems feature a 32 amp circuit with high integrity earth. As part of the hospital's specification, both ring and radial circuits were utilised.Unlike traditional fixed installations, which are labour intensive, offer little in flexibility and remain costly, modular wiring systems allow for a complete installation, from the distribution board to the furthest point of a circuit, bysimply connecting the system components
together. Click here to request literature
