Vision becomes a reality Lindapter’s Hollo-Bolt®
Flush Fit was specified as a structural steelwork
connection in HafenCity’s Brooktorkai quarter, securing a wide spanning glass roof and multi story windowed front without the fixings being visible. The revolutionary Hollo-Bolt creates immense opportunity for architectural design as the unique fixing is concealed within the steelwork with no protruding bolt head or
nut.The design included splice joints inside pre- drilled SHS sections, allowing Hollo-Bolts to be simply inserted and tightened with a torque wrench for a rapid installation. The resulting steelwork is not only structurally sound, but aesthetically pleasing, presenting a clean symmetrical
appearance. Click here to request literature
Honeywell compact valves awarded
Waterwise Marque Honeywell compact pressure reducing valves have been awarded the Waterwise Marque, awarded annually to products which reduce water wastage or raise awareness of water efficiency. The Honeywell valves maintain a constant ideal water pressure, irrespective of supply pressure, so less water flows to waste while taps are left running. A lower pressure also reduces leaks, corrosion and damage to appliances. The Waterwise Marque applies to Honeywell D04FS, D05F and D06F valves, of which over 30 million units are installed Europe- wide.
