2 PEOPLE Landscape Amenity PRODUCT UPDATE

In this issue..... Dear Reader,

Mixed messages If you were trying to judge the current economic climate based

solely on the performance of our industry trade shows then you could be forgiven for coming up with a conclusion something akin to the legendary Michael (what Hurricane?) Fish. On the one hand we have a Harrogate Week that, based on most opinion, more than exceeded expectations and the new Marwood Exhibitions Hard Landscaping and World of Paving Shows at the Ricoh Arena in March set for success and on the other the announcement of cancellation of this years SED event. We look back at some of the Harrogate Week exhibits in this issue and also welcome back Jane Carley for her first 2010 report which covers ATV’s and Utility Vehicles, a sector which has certainly been on the rise in recent times. You will also find a host of new products and company news to keep you abreast of industry developments. There are also special focuses on Fencing & Security products, a look ahead to the landscaping element of next months Earls Court Ecobuild and the first issue this year of our quarterly look at the play & activity sector issues over the eight page Play & Activity Today. Please feel free to get in touch if you have a topic of interest or something to get of your chest. We always welcome your views on your industry.

Enjoy the issue
