We are recognized as the National Governing
Body of Triathlon by the United States Olympic
Committee, the International Triathlon Union
and the United States Congress. We provide
regulation, encouragement and support for race
directors, coaches, officials and athletes.
We are sustained by annual and one-day
license fees from our members and from those
who enter our sanctioned races. We also are
supported by sponsorships, grants from the United
States Olympic Committee and by corporate and
