Side-Power introduces the next
generation of DC thruster systems
– the DC Speed Control system
The new speed controlled DC thrusters incorporate several
new features that increase control, simplify docking and making
boating a more pleasurable experience. Side-Power’s Speed
Control System allows for total control of the amount of thrust
applied allowing for precision docking. There are also integrat-
ed docking functions to automate common docking maneuvers.
And, the proportional application of power allows for extended
run times.
The DC Speed control thrusters are controlled via a two-way digital
communication protocol – the Side-Power S-link System.
The S-Link Control Panel incorporates a unique feedback system,
reporting the status of thruster operation continuously on a LCD
screen – ensuring confidence by control!
