August sees a four-week programme of summer schools for budding young theatrical types (encompassing drama, dance and musicals) at the Torch Theatre in Milford Haven. The opening week (Mon 1-Fri 5 Aug) is for ages 7-10, the second (Mon 8-Fri 12) for 11-16-year-olds, and will both feature seasoned drama industry types showing kids the ropes. The Joon Dance Summer School, for ages 6 and above, runs from Mon 15-Thurs 18 Aug with a showcase on Fri 19. Finally, from Mon 22-Fri 26, participants in the Torch’s musical theatre workshop will assemble a production of Legally Blonde Junior, again to be performed at the end.
