Three discrete concerts, in practise, but together comprising a hectic weekend in Swansea’s Singleton Park under the promotional yoke of Welsh event company Orchard Live. We begin on Fri 29 with disco/ funk icon Nile Rodgers, no stranger in this land to an open-air party; he and the present-day incarnation of his band Chic will crowdplease at the highest-grade level (tickets: £52.50). Sat 30 takes a turn for the poppier with Anne-Marie, so expect the park to be populated by young’uns and their dutiful folks (tickets: £42.50) and, to close out the weekend, Paul Weller [pictured] doing his Paul Weller-esque thing (tickets: £52.50)
