A mildly rebranded (in that they’re still sort of using the old name) and slightly expanded version of Rudry Music Fest, which debuted in 2016 and is set in the grounds of a Caerphilly-region village hall. Off The Beaten Track runs from teatime on its opening day – get there early for Gwenifer Raymond [pictured], whose instrumental folk guitar is an outlier on the lineup – and from midday on the Saturday. Uptempo Cornish folk-circuit festival faves 3 Daft Monkeys top the bill, just above hard-touring acoustic rocker Gaz Brookfield, while locally-sourced names include Matthew Frederick, Blind River Scare and Patrick Jones.
