At the recent Plantworx exhibition, Garic launched a number of eco-friendly site welfare products, including a new solar powered drying room (pictured), available in 10ft and 20ft versions. Also unveiled was a 40ft welfare trailer which can accommodate up to 15 workers and incorporates an improved layout, hybrid power and 4G Wi-Fi. Wilkinson Star is offering the F-Tech range of fume extraction systems and welding torches, designed to protect operatives from exposure to welding fumes, grinding dust and oil mist in the working environment. The F-Tech Fox is a


portable, high-vacuum system incorporating automatic filter cleaning, and an auto start/stop unit is available to reduce noise levels and energy consumption. The machine will also run two welding torches simultaneously, states the manufacturer.
