Husqvarna clears the air
Husqvarna’s A1000 is a portable machine that can be used as both an air cleaner and a negative air machine. It uses Hepa class H13 filters to give an efficiency rate of 99.99% at 0.3 microns, and is designed for use with dust created during tasks with concrete, gypsum or fine sanding work.
Genquip’s solar additions
As well as being environmentally-friendly, Genquip Groundhog’s new Solar Hybrid toilet is designed to offer operational flexibility. It has a low-flush toilet and waterless urinals, and is configured so that one female and five male personnel could use the unit at the same time. The solar panel charges a 12V battery to provide the power for running the heating, lighting and
hot water systems, as well as the effluent discharge pump. However, an integral generator is provided as a backup and the unit can be run off a 230V supply if required. The Solar Hybrid can be supplied on a detachable trailer so that it can be mobile or static.

to indicate when the filters are clogged or leaking. The airflow can be set at two different speeds, and the output is directed upwards to avoid disturbing dust on surfaces.

Trime (UK)’s X-Dust Fighter is designed to protect workers from airborne contaminants in concentrated areas, helping to deliver a healthier atmosphere in which to complete their duties. It produces a fine spray of water through a series of high-pressure jets, which is then propelled onto the site by a powerful fan. Similar in size to a small cement mixer, the
machine is highly portable and can be positioned for maximum effectiveness. The operator simply connects it to a constant water source and a 110V electricity supply and the machine is ready to work.
