Purser Trainer P
urser Trainer was launched in 2018 by experienced Yacht Purser and GUEST accredited trainer
Angela Wallace. It is the first online purser training programme dedicated to those who want to advance their careers in the industry and is IAMI and GUEST accredited. With one year to complete, the innovative e-learning system offers a flexible course structure which can be completed according to your schedule from anywhere in the world. Course topics include the role of the purser, crew administration and logistics, port clearances, financial administration and budgeting, maritime legislation and legalities, guest logistics and much more! Throughout the programme, you receive personalised one-to-one coaching and mentoring calls with Angela as you work through each module. Upon completion of the course, Angela also offers ongoing support. In 2021, they were honoured to receive the ACREW Superyacht Business Award for Crew Training for the interactive programme. Along with Purser Trainer, Angela is also the director of Interior Training for the PYA, and as such, she also heads the welfare group, which has been established to discuss crew welfare issues, such as bullying, harassment, abuse and mental health. Luxury Hospitality P
utting people front and centre, Luxury Hospitality leads the way in service training,
personal development and leadership for superyacht crew and professionals ashore. The starting point with all new clients is to gain insight and greater self-awareness via LH Dynamics, a talent awareness tool that identifies your natural strengths, style of communication and team fit. LH Dynamics can be truly transformative for both individuals and teams and it underpins everything LH does. A recent candidate said: “I was reminded of my worth. Of my value. It was exciting. And amazing.” Applying the same philosophy to their skills training, LH service experts enable individuals to excel, and build high performing teams who thrive on taking service to a whole new level. LH service training is delivered on board and is tailored to the specific needs of each vessel. For aspiring leaders, captains and HoDs, LH also offers leadership training in person and online, as well as coaching. Leadership expert Martin Mainey says: “In any leadership role, the landscape and demands are constantly evolving and coaching can be a huge support through times of change and new challenges.” For more details visit
