Are you confused with the huge choice of cots available for your little one? You are not alone! Babies on board asked Baby Equipment Expert Ashleigh Young from Groovystyle Berkhamsted for her advice!

The new SnuzKot range includes 15 cot bed styles and colours so you can create a truly unique nursery tailored to your style.

We love the SnuzKot because it is super stylish but also really functional. We appreciate the high quality and little details that make this range really unique.

It is slightly smaller than your average cot bed but this is by no means a disadvantage. It is great for small nurseries or shared spaces.

The matching changing station keeps all your new born essentials organised and is the perfect height to change your baby without over-stretching. So often we find changing sta- tions are too tall and a pain to lift baby on and off! When little one is older you can remove the changing frame so the changing station coverts to a dresser to grow with the child.

A cot usually last till around 3 years of age where as cot beds will last till around 10 years.

Snuz have designed the SnuzKot to be compact like a cot but have the longevity of a cot bed. Once the child outgrows the cot section you then purchase the extensions to easily convert into a junior bed.

*TOP TIP*

The transition from a co-sleeper to a cot in their own nursery can be quite a shock for baby so why not bring the cot into your bedroom? Baby can slowly adjust to the new surroundings before going into their own room.

*TOP TIP*

If you are purchasing a changing station make sure you can remove the changing frame. When you no longer need to use the changing station then you can use it as a book shelf or to display little trinkets.

*TOP TIP*

If your budget can stretch then we would recommend purchasing a cot that converts into a toddler bed. This is more cost effective in the long run and it means you don’t have to rush out and purchase a toddler bed when your little one starts to climb!

Invest in a good quality mattress! The mattress you purchase for your baby may last up to 10 years. Invest in a good quality one that will keep them comfortable for years to come. We love the Little Green Sheep natural mattresses.
