Latest Tracked Carrier
Tracked Carriers launched its smallest machine to date at the Executive Hire Show 2020. The Beaver 05.06 has a maximum carrying capacity of 500kg yet is just 600mm wide, 355mm high and weighs 270kg, making it easy to transport in small commercial vehicles, estate cars and 4x4s. As with all the models in the Beaver range, it is equipped with highly efficient AC direct-drive motors, maintenance-free batteries, fully proportional remote control and on-board diagnostics, among other electronic safety features. The company says most machines in this segment are
designed for climbing stairs, meaning the 05.06 has advantages over them in terms of speed, durability and tacking rough terrain. The 05.06 joins the 1,000kg capacity Beaver 10.07,
which at just 700mm wide can easily pass through standard doorways; and the Beaver 20.09, which offers an unrivalled 2,000kg capacity for a machine just 900mm wide.

In response to feedback from hirers, the Hire Supply Company (HSC) has unveiled an improved version of its ELT150 Elite hydraulic lifting table. Lockable rear castor wheels provide better stability while the table is in use, while metal guards have also been added to each wheel for extra protection. The addition of a shielding plate on the handlebars aims to help prevent anything getting trapped during the operation of the table and the foot pedal design has also been improved. The ELT150
has a lifting capacity of 150kg and provides a maximum height of 720mm. The 700mm x 450mm table surface area can accommodate a range of items from small tools to portable generators and compactions plates.
