Dragon Equipment Dragon Equipment has developed a mobile compact dust


suppression system called the DS110. The DS110 uses a high pressure piston pump requiring a 36l


per minute feed to nebulise 29l of water a minute into a spray of high pressurised water vapour. Capable of spraying up to 23m, it immediately suppresses any particles in the surrounding atmosphere. As standard, its nozzle can rotate 110 degrees horzontaly, and 45 degrees vertically. The unit weighs 670kg and is 700mm wide. The DS110’s


remote control features an in-built teach function allowing users to create up to an 8-point programme, thus ensuring optimum accuracy and that personnel are never too close to any dangerous areas. Additional features include all terrain tracks, anti-vibration mounting, a choice of Hatz 1B50 diesel or Vanguard 400 petrol engines, and a hybrid option that includes a self-charge battery system.
