New Yanmar micros launched
Yanmar has unveiled three brand new mini excavators. Designed from the ground up, the trio comprises the SV15VT, the SV17VT and the SV19VT. Taking each in turn, the 1465kg/1555kg (canopy/cab) SV15VT
features a Stage V three-cylinder indirect injection engine from Yanmar’s TNV series. Its hydraulic system delivers a flow of 28.6l/min at a maximum 205 bar pressure, achieving a digging force of 7.4kN (short arm) and 12.9kN (bucket), while also coming with a standard auxiliary hydraulic line to power breakers or augers. Users also benefit from 360° visibility, powerful LED work lights and an orange seatbelt as standard.
Shindaiwa in the round The new Site Sphere from Shindaiwa is ideal for use on
refineries or industrial environments, and in in areas requiring extra low voltage lighting. Site Sphere lights are linkable in chains up to 10 lamps in
24v or 25 lamps in 110v. Other benefits include low power consumption (30watts per lamp), IP54 ingress protection, a black casing for easy cleaning and use in dirty industrial environments, an integrated hanging hook, a magnetic base and a 6mm threaded hole for versatile mounting. Available clear plastic bags protect the lamps for painting and shot blasting in industrial environments. The Site Sphere is indeed a capable product, although it is
not ATEX rated. For that, Shindaiwa also produces excellent Site Bright M1 series.
The 1570kg/1660kg (canopy/cab) SV17VT offers the power and
performance of a larger model, and is ideal for trenching and landscaping work in tight urban areas or at residential properties. It delivers a digging force of 9.9/16kN (short arm/bucket), with two travel speeds of 2.4 or 4.8km/h. To enhance durability, the hydraulic hoses are routed inside the boom, while bucket/cylinder arm guards offer maximum protection and minimise unnecessary downtime. Finally, the 1880/1970kg (canopy/cab) SV19VT is well suited to many earthmoving applications, boasting a short turning radius at both the front and rear, alongside a wide boom swing amplitude. It offers a digging force of 11.4/16.7kN (short arm/bucket) and two travel speeds of 2.4 or 4.4km/h.
