AlorAir The AlorAir Pure Airo HEPA Pro 970 Air Scrubber is the professional choice of air scrubbers,

Air Spectrum Air Spectrum Environmental introduces its energy efficient, zero emissions


dust suppression misting system, the ‘ecotech rotary atomiser’ (RA). Three years in the making, this misting system is battery powered and does not generate any harmful emissions or noise pollution. The unit can operate for approximately eight hours on a single charge. Using rotary centrifugal energy, the ecotech RA can be programmed to


provide up to 15+ metres of misting at a variety of droplet sizes. It is designed to work with the Air Spectrum range of non-toxic chemical additives for odour control and disinfection, as well as dust control. Its 1125L bowser tank allows a run time of between six to eight hours, depending on flow rate settings. The ecotech RA was developed to meet higher customer demand and to fulfil Air Spectrum’s environmentally responsible agenda.

Dustcontrol The HSE is launching a campaign throughout October to ensure workplaces


have the correct measures in place to protect workers from harmful silica dust – which takes approximately 500 lives every year. Activities such as drilling, sweeping, pouring or grinding cause fine dust to


become airborne and subsequently inhaled, which can lead to various long-term respiratory conditions such as bronchitis and emphysema. Such particles can be captured via on-tool dust extraction. This is effectively a


LEV that is fitted directly on to the tool, comprising a captor hood, fitted hose and vacuum extraction unit, such as on Dustcontrol’s DC 2900c eco.
