David Stuart, managing director and owner, said: “Weʼve aimed to adopt clean energy for some years but had not been able to find a suitable provider. “One of our new staff members was able to spend the time researching the green energy market and weʼve been very pleased with the change to 100% renewables. While it had to make sense operationally, it was mainly driven by our ethos of
environmental stewardship. We believe that this is something that our customers care deeply about and this initiative will help them to reduce their environmental footprint. “We see this initiative dovetailing well with our Soil Association (GOTS) Approved range of Permatone Inks, for printers genuinely concerned about the environment and seeking greater integrity from their entire supply chain.”
Further to this initiative, Colormaker is investing in the installation of solar panels and expects to be largely self-sufficient for its electricity needs by the end of 2019.
EverythingBranded CEO goes undercover in new Channel 4 series

aul Rowlett, CEO and founder of EverythingBranded, appeared in the first episode of a new series on Channel 4 called The Secret Teacher on Thursday, August 8. During the programme Mr Rowlett went undercover at Haileybury Turnford School in Cheshunt, Herts to give failing students a helping hand. The series followed four successful businessmen who all struggled at school as they discover the challenges faced in the current education system. Ex-serviceman Mr Rowlett, who just nine years ago, faced homelessness following the repossession of his home, entered the school as a support teacher. With the exception of three members of staff, none of the students or staff had any idea that Mr Rowlett is one of Britain's most trailblazing tycoons. Mr Rowlett said: "My school days weren't happy ones. I came from a broken home and I wasn't academic. I was destined to fail. I left at 16 with only one GCSE.

haun Thompson has been appointed as the regional sales manager for CADlink for
the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia and India.
Located in Dorset, Mr Thompson brings over 25 years sales
experience within the signs and graphics, vehicle wrapping, interior decor, packaging, screen printing and textile markets to CADlink. Mr Thompson is looking forward to working with existing CADlink resellers as well as with new resellers.

Ms Jirangda joins MagnaColours in Thailand having spent two years at Perfectos HK selling heat transfers in the South Asian region and brings with her an extensive knowledge of traditional screen printing inks and processes, working previously as an account manager at PolyOne. With over 10 years
of industry experience of working in the garment and textiles industry to MagnaColours, she will strengthen sales efforts in the region.
Mr De Silva also joins MagnaColours from Perfectos HK. Based in Sri Lanka, Ravindu brings his 15 years of production industry knowledge to the team. Over his varied career, he has worked to establish and improve print production processes and manufacturing quality at various companies, enabling them to meet, and exceed their clientʼs requirements.
