OmniPrint launches the Cheetah C


OmniPrint International has introduced to Europe the brand new Cheetah industrial DTG printer, which has been designed from the ground up for high-volume and high-quality direct to garment printing.


This new industrial DTG print technology was developed and engineered for fulfilment centres and other large volume facilities with their high demand for speed and quality. It prints at a maximum of 2400dpi, delivering retail-ready, high-quality prints at amazing speeds.


In addition, the new Cheetah Industrial DTG printer showcases true one-pass printing technology. Traditionally, a DTG print on dark garments requires two passes (one for a white underbase and one for the colour layer). The Cheetahʼs

print engine has been engineered to work together in printing both a white underbase and a colour/highlight layer simultaneously without the need for a second print pass; contributing to the fast printing speeds. Print times on the Cheetah are 30 seconds average for a


dark garment print and under 10 seconds average for a white/light garment print, a remarkable


improvement on what used to take at least three to five minutes for a print to complete. The Cheetahʼs design features dual independent platen technology to maximize productivity. The dual independent platens allow the printer to keep printing a garment while an operator is loading and unloading the other. OmniPrint has taken its famous bulk ink delivery system and has engineered a new industrial bulk ink delivery system that maintains the ink at exact conditions while keeping operational and production costs low. The orange and green inks enable an increased colour gamut to increase the pop in printed colours and setting a new standard of print vibrancy in the industrial DTG world.

HP Stitch Worldʼs smallest DTG-capable dryer introduced by Vastex V


astex International has introduced the world's smallest conveyor dryer matched to the output of Anajet,


Brother, Epson, Polyprint and other DuPont-based DTG printing systems, depending on model size and image saturation.


The LittleRed X1Dʼs conveyor belt measures 46x122cm and is the first dryer with a heater that spans the entire belt width.


Mark Vasilantone, president, said: “This is an extremely dense machine engineered to meet the space, budget and performance needs of DTG shops using the most popular inkjets on the market.” The dryer can cure up to 27 garments per hour DTG-printed with digital white ink, as well as screen printed garments at rates to 81 per hour for water-based ink or discharge, and 162 per hour for plastisols. infrared conveyor dryer is said to eliminate the flattened, ironed-on appearance and halo associated with heat pressing of printed images, while eliminating the need for an operator to release the press after each cycle. The dryer is also typically employed to dry the pretreatment, relegating the heat press to flattening of raised fibres prior to printing with a one-second 'touch' per garment.


As standard it is equipped with features found on the company's larger DTG- capable dryers including adjustable belt- to-heater clearance to accommodate bulky items, a dual digital PID temperature controller accurate to ±1°, and an X-Series conveyor belt roller tracking system with Teflon-coated fibreglass belt. A powered exhaust removes moisture and air contaminants, while cooling the housing and controls.
