Essential scores an award hat trick E


ssential won three prestigious awards on Wednesday, May 8 at the SME Luton and Bedfordshire Business Awards. The branded clothing supplier was the big winner of the evening scooping the titles of Dunstable Business of the Year, Business of the Year: Over 50 Employees and Overall Business of the Year 2019 for the county.


Essential will now go on to compete at the SME National Business Awards at Wembley Stadium on Friday, December 6, representing Luton and Bedfordshire in Business of the Year (More than 50 employees).

Continental introduces new sustainable fibre called EcoVero

ontinental Clothing Co continues to support sustainable development by launching a new selection of eco-responsible product from certified renewable sources.


Continental is working with Lenzing, a company that works to produce new and innovative fibres, to introduce EcoVero, as the new fibre is known, into its collection.


Unlike artificial fibres, the fabric is made from 100% renewable sources which makes the fibre fully biodegradable. EcoVero fibres are made from wood pulp, a natural and renewable raw material. The wood is sourced from sustainable forestry plantations which are 100% certified by industry leading associations such as the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). A closed cycle process means that all water and

Dalesway to host new screen printing classes

aster screen printer and educator, Douglas Grigar, is returning to the UK to to lead a series of screen printing classes


hosted by Dalesway Print Technology. Several new classes, which will taught for the first time in the UK, have been added to the programme which

The next necessary step in the supply chain journey was finding a viscose fibre with full traceability and a low environmental impact. The new range is available in men's and women's styles in white mist, summer blue, navy, brick red, bottle green and black. It is made with 70% EcoVero Viscose and 30% organic cotton.
