Focus on DTF Printing Screen Print World
The full solution Many print shops assemble DTF workfl ows using equipment from multiple manufacturers – a printer from one brand, a cutter from another, a heat press from a third. This piecemeal approach often creates compatibility issues, inconsistent output, and workfl ow gaps that require additional manual intervention at each stage.
Labour remains the primary constraint in DTF production. While the process is scalable and adaptable, it involves numerous manual touchpoints that limit effi ciency. M&R’s response is a purpose-built ecosystem in which each machine is designed and tested to operate with the others. The Quatro 68 printer uses a six-head, eight-colour confi guration capable of reproducing reds, oranges, greens, and violets as true spot colours – a range standard CMYK printers cannot replicate – while maintaining a consistent output speed of 60ft/hr regardless of colour complexity. The system’s cutting equipment offers automated inline and contour cutting at up to 90ft/hr, using automatic crop mark detection to remove the need for manual trimming. The Orbiter heat press unit processes over 360 transfers per hour by converting press waiting time into continuous output. Caldera RIP software is included with each Quatro unit.

Together, the Quatro DTF Printer, Cutter X, Cutter XY, and Orbiter form a complete, end-to-end DTF solution – covering printing, cutting, and pressing within a single integrated system rather than a collection of separately sourced machines. This full-range approach refl ects M&R’s broader manufacturing philosophy: Building industrial quality, serviceable equipment as an alternative to imported systems sourced through less accountable overseas channels, where compatibility and long-term support are less certain.
