Focus on DTF Printing XPRES
One of the fastest-growing routes into garment decoration
DTF printing has become one of the fastest-growing routes into garment decoration, letting businesses print full-colour, durable transfers onto almost any fabric without the setup costs of screen printing. Epson’s G-series sits at the heart of that shift, and the G6000 and G9000 represent two different points on the production scale.
Both printers use Epson’s PrecisionCore printhead technology and UltraChrome DF ink in CMYK+White, supplied in 1.6L packs. The G6000 and G9000 support both Fiery Digital Factory with advanced workfl ow automation, multi-layer colour profi ling and colour management, automated queueing, nesting and barcoding and Epson EdgePrint RIP software. The G6000 has a 900mm print width and a standard resolution of 1200x600 dpi. The operation is handled through a touchscreen interface designed to be accessible to those new to DTF. As the fi rst model in Epson’s dedicated DTF range, it’s positioned around straightforward operation rather than high-volume output.
Epson SC-G9000
The G9000 has a maximum print width of 1,626mm and offers resolution options up to 1200x1200 dpi, alongside the standard 1200x600dpi mode, via an enlarged dual-row nozzle print head. Maintenance is largely automated, with a fabric wiper, capping station and suction cap handling daily cleaning, plus Nozzle Verifi cation Technology to monitor and compensate for nozzle condition. Print heads are user-replaceable, reducing dependence on service callouts. A built-in front heater improves drying and widens the range of compatible media, while a 4.3in touchscreen with internal lighting allows operators to check print quality mid-run.

Brother
From high-volume production to maximum fl exibility
Brother offers dedicated printing solutions for different DTF production requirements – from high-volume transfer production to fl exible, multi-application printing. The Brother DTRX is designed specifi cally for long print runs and high-volume DTF production. Its industrial design enables reliable, continuous operation with consistent print quality, colour reproduction and high white-ink opacity throughout the entire production run. By combining printing, powder application and curing in one integrated workfl ow, the DTRX streamlines DTF transfer production and provides an effi cient solution for businesses with demanding production volumes. For businesses looking for maximum fl exibility, the new Brother GTX300 combines DTG and DTF printing in a single machine. Its compact footprint, industrial design and low-maintenance operation make it well suited to businesses that need to handle different applications without investing in separate systems.
The GTX300 and the GTRX
The GTX300 allows users to select the most suitable technology for each job: DTG for direct printing, a soft hand feel and premium results on garments, or DTF for greater material fl exibility and transfer production. With the DTRX and GTX300, Brother provides the right machine for different production needs – from high-volume DTF production to maximum application fl exibility.
